Welcome to the home of the Horsham Hawks, season 2014/15
Its been a while, but we are back.
This Saturday 20 September we have school years 8-11 training at Forest School from 2.00 until 3.30. Years 7 and under have the court from 3.30 until 5.00. Then it's home for our tea.
All we ask in return is £5.00 per session (your very first one is free) and that you bring plenty of water, correct sports kit and a willingness to learn and have fun.

After attending 3 community sessions we ask that you become a Hawks registered member. This covers court insurance, registration with England Basketball and a rather fetching t-shirt featuring Sussex's premier basketball club*. Membership is £20. See details in our membership section.
Interested in tabling a Hawks game? There is a Level 1 course being run at the K2 Crawley on Sunday 21 September.
Table L1 12.00pm to 2.00pm £20 for the course.
Courses are taking place in Meeting Room 2 and 3 on the first floor. As you enter K2, walk straight ahead and up the double wide stairs. Wait by the “bar” area where you will be collected.
You can pay on the day, cash or cheque payable to “South East Basketball”.
What to bring?
Drink, comfortable clothing and ‘jumper’ in case it gets chilly! Pens, black and red, ruler, notepad for jotting down notes (you will be provided with a Basketball England handbook for L1. Copy of FIBA rules if you have them, for reference if needed. And last of all, an open mind and willingness to learn and have fun.

South East Select
Well done to Dani Lozzi and India Belfield for being selected for the U15 South East England squad playing in Nottingham on 20 September.
Sussex team of the year
What a perfect way to end a season. The Hawk's U11 sq
uad, coaches and assistants celebrating at the County Times Youth Awards where they picked up the team of the year award.
Well that was an impressive weekend (14/15 June). Following our end of season bash our young Hawks represented Sussex at U11 boys, U11 girls, U13 girls and U15 girls. Well done to Josh Lea Clayton and Antonio Lozzi who's U11's romped to unbeaten victory: Amy and Charlotte Willcox who played hard for their U11 team: Amber Hutchinson, Millie Lea Clayton and Molly Shaw who's U13's finished top of their league: Abi Reeves, India Belfield, Maya Le rossignol, Dani Lozzi, Ellie Hutchinson and Millie again, who finished undefeated to clinch their league.
But that's not all. Both Millie and Dani were selected as competition MVPs.
U11 league champions
Finally all the hard work and patience paid off – Hawks U11s are league champions, Scoring 1166 points in total. Kinda look happy about it too.
